As the Supercup teams arrived at Spa-Francorchamps, Christoph Lichtenstein held a small points advantage over rival Chris Williamson. Liam Hatchell returned to Supercup action, but with only a small chance of taking the title. In qualifying, Jason Muscat claimed an impressive pole, over 1 second ahead of Hatchell and Supercup newcomer Jyri Lylykorpi.

At the start everyone managed to get through the first hairpin cleanly and Muscat managed to hold on to his lead. However, Adam Smith was the first victim of the track as he ran wide and flipped at Eau Rouge, but managed to limp away. Unfortunately David Jundt was caught out by Smith's slow moving car which lead to big collision at Les Combes. Liam Hatchell slipped back into 3rd place at first, but later managed to repass Millar and eventually caught up to race leader Muscat.

Lap 5 proved to be dramatic lap as Williamson, Millar and debutant Stephan van der Wulp all crashed and retired in separate incidents. Williamson's crash proved very damaging to his title hopes. David Jundt retired a few laps later after a spin caused the engine to stall, which he couldn't restart.

As the drivers approached the pit phase, Muscat and pitted first and Hatchell took advantage of the clear air to leapfrog his rival. The pair had a coming together at Les Combes, causing Muscat to spin and lose time. Meanwhile, Lichtenstein also had a spin handing 3rd place to Lylykorpi. Things then remained the same to the flag as Liam Hatchell took yet another win, but despite this his title chances remained remote.
