Connolly Virtual Racing Team is an Australian Superleague team and is usually abbreviated to 'CVRT'. CVRT have won the Drivers' Championship once in their GPVWC history.

History

The team was joined the league in 2001 as Chris Connolly took over the assets of the reigning Constructors' Champions A-Racing, who withdrew from the GPVWC shortly before the season start. Having signed German Christian Neumann to partner Richard Dickson the team felt confident of success with their new CVRT-01 challenger. This confidence proved well founded as the team had a strong start to the season, which in turn meant that they claimed the Drivers' Championship and came 2nd in the Constructors' Championship when the 2001 was dramatically cut short.

With the league restarted in 2002, CVRT returned once more with an initial lineup of Darren White and Andrew Creek. However success was much harder to come by for the team as the outfit failed to capture the glory of previous seasons. Antonio Irisarri, Pablo Arteaga and Mark Wicks joined the team midseason, but failed to turn around the team's fortunes and CVRT withdrew from the GPVWC at the end of the 2002 season.
