Evolution Motorsports is an successful German sim-racing team founded by Marcel Rautter in early 2011. The Team entered GPVWC to give their drivers Marcel Rautter and Dennis Jordan a seat for the 2016 Supercup season.

History

Founded in early 2011, Evolution took part in the Formula Virtual Pro Series with Marcel Rautter and Markus Kleim as their drivers. After two successful seasons with one constructeurs championship on their hand as well as two 2nd places in the drivers championship, Kleim was replaced by Tobi Kleinadel. With this lineup the team completed the following two seasons, but was not able to beat earlier success. The team also started in the eGP-Meisterschaft organized by Motorsport-Portal. This time Rautter was set next to Philipp Puschke, a young talent who dominated the Formula Virtual Pro seasons. In their only season in the league Puschke was able to secure the drivers titel.
Under the name of "Revolution Motorsport" the team entered the Formula Simracing World Trophy in 2011 giving Puschke the possibility to perfom at the top level. Just after half a season Puschkes was signed by top tier team Ghostspeed Racing. The loss of their only driver saw Evolution withdraw from the championship.
Following a 3-year long break the team started in the Formula German Racers series with owner Rautter and Dennis Jordan as their drivers. They barely lost the constructeurs championship while coming second and third in the drivers ranking.
The team still competes in leagues of the German Racers community, however Rautter and Jordan also started racing in GPVWC in 2015, but lost their team Smile Power Racing for the 2016 season. Evolution took over Smile's Supercup licence and is going to compete in the league from 2016 onwards.
