The French Grand Prix is a part of the Superleague championship, initially held from the 2002 season to the 2013 season, with the exception of the 2010 and 2012 seasons when the race was not held, and held again from 2018. For all but one of the race's runnings until 2013, the venue was the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours; as a one off, in 2009, the race was held at the Circuit de Charade in Clermont-Ferrand. From 2018, Circuit Paul Ricard became the venue for the race.
