Georgios Davakos (born 18 August 1994 in Athens, Greece) is a Greek sim-racing driver and owner of Water Blue Racing.

Georgios Davakos started sim-racing from 2001 with Gran Turismo 3 but become a true hard-core sim-racer i 2008 with GTR-Evolution. Georgios started him sim-racing career in RaceDepartment.com for over 2 years and then moved to GPVWC. In 2011 Davakos was signed by Nordsjoen Racing for the 2011 Supercup season and as test driver in the Superleague.After racing for Nordsjoen in three events in the SuperCup , Davakos moved to his own team, Water Blue Racing.

Early Career (2009)

It all started with American F3000 Grand Prix Championship with Davakos driving for him newly born team, Water Blue Racing. Dispite Davakos up and down season he managed to drow evryones attention in Hockenhiem were he was in 15th position during wet weather conditions and managed to charge the field and overtake some of that times more expeirenced sim races. Davakos finished 15th out of 25 driver in the championship. Later this year he drove for Motor AG Motorsports and joined the RaceDepartment Formula 1 Championship were he did only 3 races. Davakos was still new to sim-racing but his hunger for more experience had just grown.

The true birth of a Greek Sim-Racer (2010)

After a learning year (2009) Davakos joined Water Blue Racing onced again and drove in Formula Pro World Series, RaceDepartment GT Championship Corvette C5R Division and Nations Grand Prix. Davakos managed to improve from race to race in the Formula Pro World Series and finished in 16th out of 24 drivers. In the other hand Davakos discovered his talent for GT cars and after some very strong races Davakos finished 3rd out of 20 drivers in the championship. After the summer brake, Davakos signed up for the Gentlemens Racing Club Formula 3 Series - Season 1. He drove in Class B and managed to finish in 4th place out of 37 drivers in the championship, this was also the last league he drove open wheel cars in for the rumaining of 2010. In 2010 Georgios Davakos was the fastest Greek driver in the sim-racing world.

New year, New goal, New hunger (2011)

"The year of diffeculties and glory" as the young Greek calls it. In 2011 Davakos found the organiser of GPVWC, William Ponissi who helped him get into GPVWC. Davakos signed up for Nordsjoen Racing who had won the constricturs title 3 times in a row in Superleague. Davakos drove also for Nordsjoen Racing in Supercup and managed his firt ever podium (3rd place) in round 2, Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. After round 3 Davakos moved to him own team, Water Blue Racing and had an up and down season until round 7 Magny-Cours Grand Prix were he came up 3rd place once again but this time with Water Blue Racing.
