Santen Motorsports

Santen Motorsports, is a Dutch sim racing team. It was founded in 2016 by Jan Santen. The team has previously competed in small rFactor 1 series, Formula Challenge is the first big step for the team.

Team History

2016

The team was planned to debut in Super Formula Racing but before the season started it pulled out.


2017

In 2017 Santen Motorsports did it's first race ever in Formula Pacific and the series' first season, competing in only 2 races with it's only driver, and team manager Jan Santen who finished last in both events.


2018

Jake Denehan and Alastair Khan in S4R1 of Formula Pacific

Formula Pacific season 2 started in early 2018, the team had a pretty poor start to the season but ended the season with 1 win and 6 podiums. The team featured Jan Santen, Jose Moronta and Jake Denehan as drivers.

Formula Pacific season 3 started in mid 2018, at this point the team had made quite a reputation in the series, Keeping it's drivers Jan Santen and Jake Denehan. The season was relatively dissapointing despite picking up 1 win and 10 podiums.

International Simracing Series season 1 started in mid/late 2018, the team secured 2 wins and 11 podiums so far. The team features Maxime Croussette, Tobias Kress, Lucas Yellue, George Roach and Jake Denehan as it's drivers.

Formula Pacific season 4 Started late 2018, after a dissapointing season 3 team managed Jan Santen left as a driver and signed Alastair Khan and kept Jake Denehan as driver. So far the team has collected 2 wins and 6 podiums.

In late 2018 team manager Jan Santen signed up Santen Motorsports for GPVWC's 2019 Formula Challenge season.

2019

The team's 2019 Formula Challenge contender

Formula Pacific season 4 and ISS season 1 are currently still going on.

The team will also debut in the 2019 GPVWC Formula Challenge season featuring drivers Diogo Moscato and Dionysis Faraos.
