Tuomas Koriala is a Finnish simracer. He made his debut in GPVWC in the Challenge Spanish Grand Prix 2012. He wanted to gain experience from the mod so he could compete in 2013 Formula Challenge season. However the testing was quite unnecessary as the mods for 2013 changed dramatically. He surprisingly took the 2nd place in the qualifying, showing that he has the speed needed. However the races itself weren't mindblowing. He did take the lead of the Feature race as a result of David Gaspers' accident, but soon lost the lead as he spun. He kept spinning and when it was time to pit, he hit the wall after braking late in the pit entry. The reason for this unluckiness was that he didn't test the mod enough before the race, thus causing him trouble in the race. He struggled 11th. In the Sprint race he finished 9th. This was because of the collision on T1.

Before his debut, he competed in Formula Simracing season 2012 in World Trophy, with poor results. His highest finishing position was 12th, showing that he simply cannot fight in the top 10. He did reach the 8th place in Abu Dhabi, as a result of pitstops. However he lost positions quickly and retired due to brake wear. Fed up with the poor results, he decided to leave FSR and find another league to make progress in. GPVWC was his choice of league. Formula Simracing was too much for him because of the level of competition, as well as preparing for the races.
