Revision as of 05:06, 6 June 2011
The 2010 Supercup season is the 3rd GPVWC Supercup season. The 2010 season stretched across 19 rounds and saw the teams using Formula Nippon cars. It also marked the return of the Supercup name in GPVWC, which had last been used in 2006.
There were several race winners through the season and many of them were considered title challengers at various points across the season. However, the cars proved to be difficult to drive, leaving the most careful and consistent drivers to fight it out for the championship. By the closing races of the season it had became a two way battle between Draig Racing's Christoph Lichtenstein and PB Racing's Chris Williamson and during an exciting season finale a race win for Lichtenstein meant he wrapped up the title.

† Although officially cars 14 & 15, due to a mix-up the Williamson Dynamics cars ran with numbers 7 & 8.
‡ Draig illegally fielded 3 cars at the Hungarian Grand Prix while Red 5 illegally fielded 3 cars at the Portuguese Grand Prix. Accordingly, Acosta and Muscat respectively were not considered official drivers for their teams at those races.
