Teams and drivers
Team Changes
- Airastream Motorsport's entry was taken over by MTR Motorsport for the 2015 season.
- Scuderia Basilea, MadCape Racing Team, Nijo Racing, Optimum SimRacing, Playseat Racing, TSA Racing and TWR all did not continue into the 2015 season.
New Entries
- Ice Cold Racing returned to the series following a 1-year absence in 2014.
- Downforce iZone Racing, Epic Racing Team, GT Competizione, Kernow Sport and Zedderick Racing all entered the International Touring Cup for the first time in 2015.
2015 Calendar
- † each round consists of three races of equal length.
Calendar changes
For 2015, the International Touring Cup returned to many of the locations found on its original calendar back in 2013. Circuito Vasco Sameiro, Botniaring Racing Circuit, Snetterton Motor Racing Circuit and the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve all returned though it was only the British Touring Cup which did so from the 2014 season.
Many established Touring Cups made the trip to different locations. The New Zealand Touring Cup traveled to Manfeild Autocourse, the Japanese Touring Cup headed to Suzuka Circuit, the Austrian Touring Cup made its way to the Red Bull Ring, the Italian Touring Cup switched to the Autodromo Riccardo Paletti whilst the American Touring Cup would round off the season at the Portland International Raceway.
The brand new rounds will include Spain (Jerez de la Frontera), Belgium (Heusden-Zolder) and, for the first time ever in any GPVWC competition, Indonesia (Babakan Madang).
