YTF1 continued to compete in the International Touring Cup, where the team had an extremely mixed season with a new lineup of Lindberg and [[Adrian Campfield]]. The season started well, with Lindberg taking the team's first ITC podium since 2015 at le Mans, followed by a victory for Campfield at Misano. However, the team would only score 2 points in the following 8 incident-packed races and fell to 11th in the standings. At Okayama, YTF1 bounced back and scored their first 1-2 finish in any series. Campfield won his and the team's 3rd ITC race of the year at the final round at Virginia and YTF1 placed 9th in the standings.

YTF1 were promoted to the Superleague for the [[2019 Superleague season]]. Before the season began, Allington took a step back from team management and handed over day-to-day running to [[Tobias Olsson]], who would drive alongside rookie [[Michael Haflidason]]. The beginning of the season proved to be disastrous, with only 2 race finishes in the first 6 races and the team lagging behind in car development. Halfidason and YTF1 parted ways before the Turkish Grand Prix, where [[Michael Bell]] would take over the seat for the following two races. Olsson pulled the plug prior to the Canadian Grand Prix, and Allington stepped back into the team management role, hiring [[Sven de Vries]] as a temporary replacement for the Swede at the wheel of the #91 car. YTF1 showed much improved form from this point onwards, regularly finishing just outside the points. After the summer break, YTF1 entered with a fresh look - a newly-repainted car and a new driver lineup in the form of [[Dawid Krupa]] and [[Luca D'Amelio]]. Krupa's debut ended before the first corner, but D'Amelio finished 16th. D'Amelio then suddeenly left the team after just one race, and rookie [[Steven Lexow]] would make an impressive debut at the Belgian Grand Prix, finishing 16th having recovered from an incident-packed opening to the race in mixed conditions. [[Luke Maguire]] would substitute for Lexow in Monza.

YTF1 is a British team who have competed in the Atlantic Series, Formula Challenge, International Touring Cup, Masters Series, Supercup World GT and World Sport Series. YTF1 ran cars for Eric Stranne and Borja Millán in their championship-winning seasons in the 2014 International Touring Cup season and 2016 Atlantic Series season respectively.

The team, in it's original from, was founded in Schoonhoven, the Netherlands, in 2010 and participated in a private series with friends of the original owner, using Grand Prix 3. After hearing about the intention of the original owner to shut the team down, Matthew Allington took over the team in December 2011 and continued to run it in the aforementioned series. After the series fizzled out, Allington decided to reorganize the team and enter it into the GPVWC.

In late 2015, the team headquarters were relocated to Bath, although the facilities near the Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire were retained as an outpost.
