The 2025 Formula Sprint 2 will be the 4th GPVWC Formula Sprint 2 season. The name Formula Sprint 2 was created to replace the GPVWC Formula Challenge Series which did run for 10 seasons from 2012 to 2021.

Calendar changes

The Bahrain, Hungarian and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix were removed from the calendar.

The Chinese, Austrian and United States Grands Prix were reintroduced.

The German Grand Prix venue changed from the Nurburgring to the Hockenheimring for the GPVWC 2024 season.
