The Bathurst Masters has been held at the Mount Panorama Circuit in New South Wales, Australia in both the 2009 and 2011 Masters Series seasons. The circuit was scheduled to return for the 2014 Masters Series season and the event would have been held under the name of the 'Bathurst 1000 Masters'. In a complete split from what has been held before, there would have been only one race at 1000 kilometres long. Ultimately, however, the event was cancelled as the 2014 season was curtailed following the Indianapolis Masters.
