Deltec Racing Team is a GPVWC Constructor owned by Marius van Wyk. The outfit is based in Cape Town, South Africa. Deltec Racing was founded in 2005, after having competed successfully in the FSR Online League between 2006 and 2008. 2014 we fired up the engines and joined the prestigious GPVWC League, competing in the World Sport Series. It was a tough 2014 year to say the least. Although we did not score a single point during the 2014 season, we proved we have the focus and mindset to accomplish any task, especially during the 24HR Le Mans Event.
We are geared for the 2015 Formula Challenge season. Denis Mitchell & Adam Ozgur heads the driver duties. Stephane Rouault is signed will perform reserve duties, as former driver Stefan McCready goes to the Superleague as reserve driver. Deltec Racing Team was granted entry to the Career Ladder Series for the 2015 Formula Challenge Season.

Early Years
Deltec Racing Team has its roots in 2004 with the late Antonio Racing Team. In 2005 Deltec Racing Team joined the Formula Sim Racing League. As a 1st time rookie, Marius finished 2nd in the Pro75 FSR (Offline) World Series. We continued in 2006 in FSR, having 2 teams in the field. Also in 2006, we were approached by Armaroli Simulators Brazil to be the seat holder for Team South Africa in the Armaroli ASRWC WC Series. We agreed. Together with Zaahir Essa and Craig Hattingh, Team South Africa finished 2nd in the ASRWC Series. 2007 saw the best result for the Deltec racing Teams in FSR with a 4th and 8th place season finish. Hendrich van Rensburg & Riaan vd Westhuizen were amongst the drivers. 2008 was the last year Deltec participated in FSR.
2014 & 2015
2014 we joined the prestigious GPVWC League as Deltec Racing in the World Sports Series, using the Porsche Flat6 GT cars. It proved a very tough year for us, specially after 6 years of non-competitive racing! Although we did not score a single point during the 2014 WSS season, Deltec Racing proved they have the focus and mindset to accomplish any task, especially the 24hr Le Mans Event! 2015 Deltec racing was granted access in the GPVWC Formula Challenge season. Denis Mitchell & Adam Ozgur heads the driver duties. Stefan McCready as reserve driver. We are currently p14 in the Constructors Championships.
2016
There is already much talks with new faces and drivers in the GPVWC paddock. Former Supercup champion, [[Christoph Lichtenstein}} has joined our 2016 team. Also prominent driver Stephane Rouault and newcomers Francis Gabrera and Niels Vos are part of the 2016 team. Deltec Racing will be amalgamated into Armaroli Racing Team in 2016.
