As team manager
In 2012 Schroten left Racing Team Schroten and made his own team instead of sharing a team with his brother Roy. As manager of Hené, Mike was busy with getting enough drivers. This had some ups and downs. Jarl Teien did a great job as first driver, but the second driver was a problem. Because of that Schroten drove some races himself too, in which he even was able to score some points. After he renamed the team to Measuric Racing, Schroten began to drive for himself again as well.
As driver
Mike Schroten drove for his team when necessary, Although he wasn't able to drive very often. In the 2012 GPVWC World Sport Series Schroten drove some races for Racing Team Schroten, in which he also scored some points, but also in this series, he couldn't make all races. The last series where Schroten drove in this year was in the 2012 GPVWC Winter GT. Schroten drove the last 2 races for his own team Measuric Racing.
