After a long midseason season break, Supercup headed out to Barcelona in Spain. However, many of the teams faced severe logistical problems getting to the track meaning that they and their drivers were unable to get to the circuit in time for the race. In the pit lane, the teams who had arrived managed to negotiate for the race to be delayed slightly to buy time for teams on their way to the circuit. Unfortunately, the delay meant that the practice and races session had to be dramatically shortened in order to avoid running too late.

In the race itself Sam Millar extended his winning streak having fought off some close competition from debutant David Jundt. Jason Muscat was second, while Championship contender Chris Williamson finished fourth.
