+
The 2020 calendar follows the 16-round limit introduced in 2019. The first round will take place in Australia on 10 March and the last will take place in Brazil on 20 October, with each race taking place on a Tuesday, every two weeks. The exception to this will be the customary Summer Break in July, consisting of a gap of four weeks between the German and Belgian rounds.

*The Malaysian, Spanish and, controversially, Monaco Grands Prix were removed from the calendar. The Malaysian round had only been reintroduced in 2019, while the Spanish Grand Prix had been held, at different venues, since 2002. The Monaco Grand Prix, however, had been held every year since the formation of GPVWC, with the only exception of during the curtailed 2001 season.

*The Dutch, French and Russian Grands Prix were reintroduced. The French race was last held in 2018 while Russia had been absent since the end of 2017. The Dutch Grand Prix, together with Zandvoort, was last held in 2012, despite an aborted attempt to hold the Grand Prix at Assen in 2016.

Preseason Test #1 25/02 France Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours
Preseason Test #2 3/03 Japan Fuji Speedway

Calendar changes

The Supercup series' calendar reflected that of the rest of the Career Ladder.

 • The Malaysian, Spanish and, controversially, Monaco rounds were removed from the calendar.
 • Hungarian, French and Russian rounds were reintroduced. The Hungarian and French races were last held in 2018 while Russia had been absent since the end of 2017. The Dutch round, last held in 2012, was provisionally set to return to the calendar in 2020 but was replaced by the Hungarian event when issues with the Zandvoort circuit became apparent.
