Been going through the archives with Wayback Machine again and I've found a few pages from the original GPVWC site relating to 2000, which can hopefully fill in a few gaps.

They appear to have used a very unusual points system in 2000 - 20,16,14,13,12,11,10,6,4,3,2,1 with 1pt for pole and 1pt for fastest lap - with the top 12 scoring in what looks like two sets of the old F1 style points system joined together.

It also appears Jason Endean got fastest lap for the Hungarian and Australian races, although the laptime isn't mentioned. --Chris williamson 09:46, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
