Team changes
- Edonis Engineering was automatically promoted to the Superleague after winning the 2014 Supercup season Teams' Championship.
- FA Racing chose not to apply for 2015 ending a 3-year involvement in the Career Ladder.
- Centurion Grand Prix and Scuderia Basilea were both demoted to Formula Challenge after 2 years in the Supercup.
New entries
- Walk Racing gained automatic promotion through winning the 2014 Formula Challenge season Teams' Championship.
- Enterprise GP and Smile Power Racing were both promoted after strong seasons in Formula Challenge; both teams finishing in the top five of 2014.
2015 Calendar
Calendar changes
- The Malaysian, Chinese and German Supercup Grands Prix were all removed from the calender
- The Portuguese, Turkish and Singapore Supercup Grands Prix all made their return to Supercup calender after a 4, 1 and 2 year absence respectively.
Rule changes
Sporting
- A new Team Numbers system was implemented into the Career Ladder for 2015. This meant that all teams across the Ladder held their own numbers instead of having them determined by finishing position of the following year.
