Fran signed at Knight Racing right after the Australian GP, his performances were good enough for points. after scoring some points the big turnaround came at his home Grand Prix in Spain, scoring a great 2nd place in race 1 and a win in race 2. Fran showed the world how good he was. But his ambitions were bigger then the Formula Challenge. He wanted to get to the Supercup Championship

After his great results in Spain, the Supercup teams asked him to race in the Supercup races in Spain, It was a new experience for Fran but he did a solid job and got a great point finish in 9th place in his debut races
