Pacific Racing was a New Zealand constructor and was owned by Barry Gifford. The team participated only in the inaugural GPVWC season, 2000.
Pacific initially entered the league as a replacement for the suspended Feilerfuf team, but later took the slot vacated by Millennium. They enjoyed a strong working relationship with fellow New Zealand constructor Britten F1 and even shared engine supply for their debut race before switching to Fondmetal for their second race. Despite scoring 13pts, the relationship with Britten quickly became strained and Pacific collapsed shortly before the Belgian Grand Prix. The team's assets were then taken over by HawkEye Racing.
