Constructors versus racing teams

For Ollie and everyone else:

For most teams I have added here, I've appended the names with "F1" to distinguish the page for the team from the name of the constructor. Many constructors have entered teams in the SuperLeague (F1), the SuperCup (F2000/GP2 etc) and the Masters etc.

If adding "F1" to the end is unsuitable, we should think of another way of distinguishing the constructor names from the team names. --Mal mckee 17:59, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

I presume the aim of this is to have separate pages for someone's Superleague team, Supercup and Masters team, plus a further page for the overall team. If that's the case I'd perhaps suggest adding a suffix to the Constructor column for each series (eg 'Nijo Racing SL', 'Nijo Racing SC'), rather than adding something to the Team column. That's a good suggestion, Chris. We could make the text display, for example, "Woods Racing", but have it link to a page for the team itself with an article name which is different. For example:
[[Woods Racing SL|Woods Racing]] would produce this..
Woods Racing
We should try to discuss these kinds of standards so that the thing ends up easier to follow, edit and browse, ultimately. --Mal mckee 23:48, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
Made a couple of changes to the teams and drivers section to change the F1 tag to SL in the first column to provide links to the pages specifically about each Superleague team. I've also changed the constructors column to the short form a the team name to make it more in line with wikipedia tables of this type (eg F1 2011). Let me know if you'd like it done any differently. --Chris williamson 18:32, 29 June 2011 (UTC)

Flags

You're most likely aware of this already, but there's some flags that don't seem to be available to use at the moment (eg Abdel Damghi needs a Dutch flag).

Good point Chris - I actually am aware that more flags will be needed, but I wasn't aware I'd got Abdel's flag wrong! I have him as Italian for some reason! --Mal mckee 22:16, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
