The 2025 Formula Sprint 1 will be the 4th GPVWC Formula Sprint 1 season. The name Formula Sprint 1 was created to replace the GPVWC Supercup Series which did run for 14 seasons 2006/2021.

The 2024 champion Mike Kwint Moved up to the GPVWC Superlights Series for the 2025 season. The 2024 Formula Sprint 2 Champion Mateusz Majka moved to Malta Force GP for this season.

  • Kings Racing Originaly were part of the 2025 Grid. After Superlights team Chaos withdrew before pre season testing Kings moved up to the GPVWC Superlights Championship. LEF Autoracing replaced the spot left by Kings Racing.

2025 Calendar

The 2025 calendar follows the usual 16-round limit. The first round will take place at Albert Park, Melbourne and the last will take place at Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi. with each race taking place on a Thursday, every two weeks. The Spring and Summerbreak were maintained.

Calendar changes

  • The German Grand Prix venue changed from the Hockenheimring to the Nurburgring for the 2025 season.
  • The United States Grand Prix venue changed from the Circuit of the Americas to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the 2025 season.
  • The Brazilian Grand Prix venue lost its place as the last round on the calender for the 2025 season.
  • The German, Belgian and Italian Grand Prix all became paid DLC's tracks. (which were GPVWC's first)
