Report

Qualifying

Both Joe Consiglio and Christoph Lichtenstein were penalised for being lifted onto their jacks at their garages in the pitlane during the first qualifying session. While this didn't affect Lichtenstein too badly, being off the pace at this track, Consiglio would have to fight his way right from the back of the grid at a track in which he could potentially have started the race from the front two rows.
