The 2024 Formula Sprint 1 will be the 3rd GPVWC Formula Sprint 1 season. The name Formula Sprint 1 was created to replace the GPVWC Supercup Series which did run for 14 seasons 2006/2021.

Team changes
- TOP Esports were promoted to the 2024 Superleague Championship after winning this series in 2023.
- Spark Racing Team, TCS Off Racing were promoted to Superlights.
- Fryslan Racing Team opted to move down to Formula Sprint 2 for the 2024 season.
- Rowen GP opted not to continued after the 2023 Formula Sprint 1 season.
- Santen MotorsportsWere not on the grid of the 2024 Formula Sprint series, they applied for an extension for the 2024 which was not granted by the GPVWC administration.
New & Returning entries
- Team Rookie Monsters returned to the Career Ladder for the first time since 2018.
- Kings Racing, VMS SunEdits Racing and KKR , were all promoted from the Formula Sprint 2
