Drivers' Briefing

Prior to participation in any event, we strongly recommend that you take the time to read both the official regulations and this briefing.

General Driving Procedures

1. The following Driver Aids are allowed in all official sessions of the GPVWC Superleague:

Auto Clutch: YES

2. The Test Session schedule is as follows:

16:00 UK till 22:00 UK. Duration 6 Hours.

3. Participation: Up to Three drivers per team. Valid Superleague Driver/Team License holders only - must be contracted by the team. Anyone having issues with either licences or contracts must notify the GPVWC administration before the test.

4. Drivers cannot change upgrades configurations of their car after they have completed their first lap. Doing so may result in lap data being lost following the changes and consequently these laps not being counted towards RD/eRD points earning.

5. Earning RD Points: During pre-season tests, teams can only earn RD points for up to a maximum of 125km per test - this is a per driver limitation. Only timed laps completed will be used to award Development Points.
Teams will earn 1.0 pts per kilometer of any timed lap.

6. Earning eRD Points: During pre-season tests, teams can only earn eRD points for up to a maximum of 125km per test - this is a per driver limitation. Only timed laps completed will be used to award Engine Development Points.
Works teams will earn 1.0 pts per kilometer of any timed lap; customer teams will earn no points.

7. Minimum laptime: Drivers are required to complete laps in times below a specified time. Laps above this time will be void in regards to earning points. The minimum laptime for these sessions are as follows:

Mugello: 1:33 in the event of a dry session and 1:52 in the event of a rain affected session.
Paul Ricard: 1:53 in the event of a dry session and 2:14 in the event of a rain affected session.
Yeongam: 1:54 in the event of a dry session and 2:15 in the event of a rain affected session.
Fuji: 1:28 in the event of a dry session and 1:47 in the event of a rain affected session.
