As teams start to think about the preparations for the 2004 season, Juan Tortella had a brief chat with the press concerning his team's recent race form.

'The last two GP great qualifying performances provided JTM with only four points and Tortella already hasn't any answer. The team is working about 18 to 20 hours a day to know why the car isn't performing properly the race day. We heard Maple talking about tires issues and Lock arguing that the team is lacking in good setups.

The recent results are generating some concern at Maranello, home of Ferrari engines, something that threads next year deal. Another important issue is that JTM team principal is in negotiations with some important sponsors, putting some extra pressure on the team. All this in together brings some clouds over next season drivers line-up and engine supplier so nothing is confirmed by now. Will see if we have some news and confirmation this weekend at the Japan GP.'
