The SCUM team have been very quiet since the start of the 2004 season. With a monstrous amount of work going on in the background, the boys have had little time to party (but that time is coming, I?m sure).

So I decided to do a bit of digging and this is what I have found out.

They still are yet to sign another driver for the coveted No. 2 Car. Although I?m well informed that they are holding discussions with at least three likely candidates.

The livery for the SC204 is being kept a guarded secret that even James Bond couldn?t get a look at it.

Dan, Rab and Shiro have been quite happy to do all the testing so far this season. All of the team is extremely happy to see Dan back in the car on a more regular basis and that could lead to a surprise for the start of the ?04 season proper.

The development of the new Holden engine for ?04 has been full of surprises for the team, but they aren?t saying whether they are good surprises or bad ones. From the times that they are producing on the track, I would say that they are having teething problems. Although I have been reliably informed that they are only testing race setups.

The launch date of the SC204 is yet to be released, but I am told that it will be even more spectacular than last seasons.

So SCUM still has a bit of work to do before the start of the season, but we all know how professional a team they are and I?m sure that they will be more than ready to defend the drivers championship.
