Woods Racing today announced the sacking of test driver John Harland after failing to complete another test.

"Obviously I'm unhappy at losing a test driver, but I absolutely refuse to keep anyone who fails to even turn up at 3 tests in a row. John hasn't

managed to do anything for us, except lose us a lot of money, and that is unacceptable." Oliver Woods said. However, he did have some good news: "work on the new WR04a is going well, and we also have a new driver about to sign.

Hopefully the 3 missed days shouldn't matter."

F1VWC News comment - Woods Racing appear to have been left with no other option but to find a replacement. Valuable potential engine improvement has been lost due to no test track time.
