Following his Belgian GP driving the MMRT, Kieran Ryan provided the following comment to the MMRT Press team:-

''Having a dry race was a bonus as in qualifying the car felt awful in the wet conditions. As the race progressed I found myself making up some places and just pushing VERY hard to fight past people. I had a quick spin on lap 22 which cost me just about 2 seconds into the bus stop chicane but besides that the race went rather well.

I managed to find some more time through S2 where I couldn't throught the free practise days. To get points is a bonus, I'm now just 1 behind Shiro for 4th in the Championship and it helps the team too as they move to 10th in the Constructors Championship; it's just a shame I couldn't have found a few more seconds and maybe 4th could have been on the cards again. I will go to Italy feeling happy and I will be there with another team after all I'm setting a new trend and fashion to switch teams!'

In response, the MMRT management stated the following:-

"The MMRT staff wants to thank Kieran for his good work at Spa and wish him all the best in his new team and the next season. Although his spell at MMRT was brief it was a nice experience and the staff was impresed with his speed."
