Matt Maple was seen in the paddock again this weekend, on managerial duty with his team and also talking to team owners, about what? We dont know.
Although Mapes-VO have been the Ferrari of the F1VWC it is unlikely he will have been talking about 2005 rules and regulations, more likely in search of a drive for the last two races.
Maple has recently undergone life changes and after some very impressive races in Montreal, Silverstone and Nurburgring he has such been off track again, mostly after a heavy crash in USA which resulted in him not being able to race in Germany, however after qualifying Maple pulled out of the German race and has only been seen testing for one day in an EIRE since.
Maples agent has asked teams wishing to secure his services for the last two races to drop a line to mattymapes@btinternet.com.
