DL Racing have announced a sponsorship deal with Federal Express for the next 2 GPVWC seasons. The deal is rumoured to be worth £9.2 Million per Season.

Dan Lawrence - Team Manager - Commented "The DL Racing team is growing quite quickly. Since the takeover from Sparshot Racing back in September 2000 many things have been changed in the way the team is structured. We have had problems in the past with sponsors only willing to be with us because of what engine we have had in the car. The future is looking very different however. We have a massive commitment from FedEx who are well known for their own speed!! Hopefully they can inject some speed into our already fairly quick package. FedEx will also transport all DL Racing staff and equipment to each race and test session.

We hope to announce a complete package for the 2001 season in the next few weeks".

A spokesperson for FedEx commented "We are pleased to have signed a deal with DL Racing. The team did a sterling job in last years championship and came on very strong toward the end of the season with a consistent run of top finishes. We hope to help the team to rise to the challenge of the World Championship in 2001."
