Impressing the F1VWC management team always gets a team off on a good footing. And Bernard provided the following information.

The history of the RTT RacingGroup

Towards the end of the year 2001 a young Austrian founded the Radioactive-Tiger-Team (RTT). But besides the idea and the design he had no drivers until he met a couple which was looking for something to do in their already very busy free time schedule. They were nice, they were fast, and they were engaged.

At the beginning of 2002 the team boss already quit, took his designer with him and has never been seen again. Everything that was left behind was the drivers Dieter 'Merlin' Raum und Claudia 'Lollipop' Raum. Both remaining drivers agreed that it is not their style to start a racing season and to quit. So they kept racing and were trying to find a backup driver. Just a few months later Jörn 'Kanzler' Kampmann got a hold of the RTT. It is uncertain if he just felt sorry for them or if he saw the chance to move in the 1st league, but 'Kanzler' joint the team.

That's how the RTT SuperGau finished a very tough first season, but even so very successfully with the driver title and the second place in the constructor's championship in the season 2001/2002 of the GP3DL, league 2.

During the summer break more drivers joined the team and new teams were built. So became the 3 Men/Women Team RTT SuperGau to the RTT RacingGroup with 12 drivers from 3 different countries, which were divided into 3 teams: RTT SuperGau (GPxIL, Liga1), RTT Juniors (GPxIL, Liga2) und RTT AndrusGroup (Andrus-League).

Also a new philosophy was born; the support from partner teams. TeamOldiesPower, whose team boss Daniel 'Daeni' Fintschin was already helping the RTT during their first season and new TomDInternationalRacing (team boss Tom 'TomD' Dobrokovsky). The three joined their power, which helped each team a lot.

After the first 1/3 of the season in the andrus league, we founded an additional team, the RTT SpeedRacing and after the half season another one, the third competing team, the RTT Rookies. At the end two teams were in the top 20 and the third made it in the top 30.

In the GpxIL the late in the season starting RTT Rookies came in 6th, the RTT Juniors ended 4th and the RTT SuperGau became again vice champion by the constructor's championship, but this time in the first league!!

Now we're looking into the future of the RTT RacingGroup!

The team grew to more than 25 drivers from 7 different countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Brazil, Italy, Sweden and USA). That means the number of teams will increase for the 2003/2004 season.

In the GPxIL we'll have the RTT SuperGau in league 1 and 3 more teams in league 2 competing. Also 4 Teams will go on start in the Andrus League and 4 more teams will drive in the Hotlap Competition and 2 teams in the GPChampionship.com.

Who is team boss Bernard Boesch?

I?m a Swiss native, but living in America (= American Driver) and I?m managing 3 teams at the moment. My first team, the RTT Challengers is competing in the GP4IL.de. The team finished in 4ht in the constructors championship and I finished as second best active RTT driver in 7th.

My two other teams, the RTT GreenThunder and RTT GreenStorm, are competing in the GPChampionship.com in the F3 league and FRenault league respectively. The GreenThunders will be in the 4th position (after Suzuka) and the GreenStorm in 10th or 11th. Both team started just this year. The Thunders got nominated earlier in the season to F3 when we founded RTT GreenStorm for the FRenault league, that means both teams haven?t competed a complete season, otherwise we could be higher up.

But the success in both leagues for all 3 teams shows you, that I?m capable to lead a team and to motivate drivers to give their best every race. It also shows you, that we?re a great team with many drivers (ca.

30) and growing, not to be bigger, but a lot of drivers like to be in a fun team with a healthy environment. My main goal is to have fun and to compete on every race, testing, etc. That?s for what we?re known for.

And the teams current driver line up?

a) Ersin Pinar is a very fast guy and is probably well known by all of you with his jokes and of course race speed. He finished last year in 4th in the F1simracing league and is right now 5th in the GPChampionship in the FRenault league.

b) Bernard Boesch: As I already wrote I finished 7th in the GP4IL (2nd league) and I compete some races in the GPC (F3 and FRenault) where I?m holding the record for the fastest ever competing American (5th Place in Indy). I still got the most points for a RTT driver in the FRenault league. Last year, I was competing 2/3 of the F1simracing league.

c) Fernando Laaf is as you know in your league driving for the MMC Racing team. (Ryan contacted me, so the whole thing got started). I think he already showed his speed. If he?s driving for us or for MMC is not 100% clear, but we?ll figure something out. Fernando is also driving in the GPC (F3; just got 2nd in Suzuka) and was 3rd in the GP4IL 2004 (2nd league).

d) Dieter Raum is the Team owner and very fast. He competed in the GP4IL (1st league) and ended up 3rd. He?s driving in that league since 2001. Further is he driving in the GPC (F3) with Fernando and on the 6th in the drivers championship. He also competed the last 2 years in the F1simracing league.

For a great 2005 season!
