The Swiss Car team have quit the GPVWC. Team Manager David Schneider could see no way out of the trouble he was in after his main driver, Bruno Moreria, expressed a wish to leave the team.
Moreira was unhappy with the way Schneider was running the team and questioned his level of commitment.
Schneider left with no complaints however and vowed to return for the 2002 championship.
