The HawkEyE rs01 was launched today on a sunny day in Australia, we drove our car round the melbourne circuit to let the press take pictures and had a conference after, heres what the hawkeye team said...

Richard Scott, Manager - "Last season our we were just getting our team together, sorting out the Drivers, working on the website and designing the 2000 season car. This season we have set aims to achieve. Hopefully we can get points from every GP so we can finish quite well but of course there will be other teams in the championship that work just as hard as we do. Ben has said that he is commited and I believe that he can do well, Blair is in his second season with the team and has high hopes for HawkEyE".

Ben Connolly, Driver - "I am thankful to get a place on the GPVWC 2001grid, with a very determined racing team - Team HawkEyE. I believe I can show much greater commitment in 2001 than I did in my rookie season, where I was a bit childish with my performance while qualifying for the Monaco GP. This will never occur again, and I believe I can be relied apon for a very high level of commitment for my new team, and will hopefully participate in every single GP throughout the season. I also hope that the race distance will be lowered from 100% back to 50%, as I feel that a full race distance is just too much, although I will take part in it. I look forward to this coming season. and I feel that I could run very strongly in races... Good luck to all for 2001.”

Blair Disley, Driver - "I have joined Hawkeye this season as I enjoyed my time with them last year. I think I will be able to finish in the top 6, and if my team mate and I are competitive enough, we should be able to move Hawkeye into the top 3 positions of the GPVWC constructors world championship".
