There is talk filtering through the grapevine linking Roaldo Racing with a BMW engine deal.

It is thought that the experienced team from the Netherlands is seen as a very attractive prospect for BMW. No money has yet been mentioned, but it is widely beleived that BMW want at least £25 million for the engines next season.

Jonk GP are also in the frame for a deal with BMW, although no news has been received on details of their offer.

Bridgestone are talking up their chances and are boasting that they have had a number of teams requesting their services for the 2002 season and beyond. Michelin on the other hand refused to comment when we contacted them.

Also, DL Racing are strongly rumoured to be considering pulling out of the 2002 season.

More rumours will be posted as they come in.
