In a meeting this weekend at the team's European headquarters in Liverpool, England, Bacardi Stealth Renault's David Brown and Ted Cragg set down in principle the further extension of their successful partnership into the 2008 season. With the F1VWC expected to 'modernize' its format next year, final details will soon be arranged but, after a tremendous first two years together, the pair are excited for more.

"We've really come a long way since we began together two years ago, especially given our starting point," said Team Principal Cragg. "Considering that the former SCUM car scored 2 points in 2005, we had a long way to climb to reach the podium. But we have now done so, and it is an amazing feeling to look back on two years of hard work. Success breeds success," he continued, "and, whatever the format, we know there is much to look forward to next year."

"We're at the point now where we're ready to take the next step, next year," said David Brown. "We really have the potential to challenge for serious results and I just can't wait to do so," he said. "I think we're all looking forward to the off-season and getting things in place for next year, and it will be great to do that together within Stealth."

Exciting times indeed appear to be ahead for the Canadian team, which has been strengthening its roots substantially this month.
