The Grand Prix Virtual World Championship is arrived in Canada to take part in round 6 of the 2008 Season. The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, in Montreal, is the beautiful setting that welcomes the teams and drivers who'll try to come out of the North American trip with some points to be shown for. This Grand Prix also marks an important step for the GPVWC, with the introduction of a new section of the website, MyPaddock Monitor, which will help drivers, team managers and administrators alike in the race events and in running the activities of the league.

But let's take one step at the time. The GPVWC circus arrives in Canada with an exciting fight in both the Drivers' and the Constructors' Championships. Mark Wicks and Woods Racing are steadily on top, but they see the shadows of their competitors getting closer. After Monaco's carnage, many drivers on the field will want to go back to the positons they are used to - and some others, such as Mal McKee, will want to build on the Monaco success instead. Woods Racing will need to rely on their star driver Wicks and on a Martijn Vosselman in improving form to fend off the attacks of Nordsjoen, the Italian team presumably fielding a full lineup of Scott Whiteman, back after two events, and William Ponissi. Further down the pitlane, Belami Racing's Laurentiu Albu will surely try to score his first win on a track that should suit his car/engine package well.

Drivers will have their racing experience improved by the introduction of the new GPVWC MyPaddock Monitor. This device, that in the future will manage every single aspect of racing, now provides them with extensive info on the event and allow to start the sessions, end them and submit files directly via the built-in system. More information on how the new system works can be found within the Monitor itself, by clicking on the Briefing button (second from the left under the "Related Links" section).

To access MyPaddock Monitor, simply enter your Paddock Pass in the login field on the main page and click "Login".
