After the run in the forests of Spa, it's time to hit another legendary track. Situated in a beautiful park just a few minutes outside Milan, the Monza circuit has made history in several occasions - both in the FIA F1 and in GPVWC.

The league gets to Italy with an exciting situation in both Championships. In the Drivers' standings, Laurentiu Albu has a 25-point lead over Mark Wicks, and knows a win in Monza could virtually, if not yet mathematically, hand him the title. Wicks knows he has to win and hope in a not-so-brilliant performance by the Romanian ace to keep open his chances of closing the gap with the Belami driver.

In the Constructors' standings, Nordsjoen is hot in the chase of the Romanian outfit, currently 11 points ahead. With both Whiteman and Ponissi scheduled to race in Monza, this gap could be reduced - but of how much is still the question.
