Suzuka might be sharing the honour of hosting a race in the FIA's F1 World Championship with Fuij, but the scenic track that saw many epic battles is the only thing that matters for the GPVWC drivers as they approach the third race of the season.
The first two events gave a taste of how hardly fought the Championship will be: Adam Rouse and Joe Consiglio both came home with a win for Nordsjoen, but failed to score in the other race; Janne Tanskanen, who set both Pole Positions, failed to convert some stunning performances into points; and other talented drivers such as Mark Wicks also had a shot at prestigious positions. With all these drivers in action in Japan, plus names like Phil Perkins and Kieran Ryan, who recorded strong results in the previous years, coming in the picture, the battle for the win in Suzuka will be a hot affair.
Consultation with the drivers resulted in the debated Parc Ferme rules NOT to be applied; the qualifying and race formats will be mantained in the same way as they were performed in the opening races of the season. However, an update in the server now allows spectators to join and watch the race - assuming there are enough spaces available in the server when all drivers and managers have joined.
