As the 2009 Superleague passed the mark of 1/3 of the Season at the end of the Monaco Grand Prix, the teams head towards what, for many, will be the home Grand Prix.

Silverstone, chosen by acclamation by the GPVWC as host of the British Grand Prix, will be the setting for Round 7 of this exciting season, and it already holds promises for an exciting race. With Championship leader Joe Consiglio only 4 points ahead of teammate Adam Rouse, a two-horse race within Nordsjoen is in the cards. However, the threat of the likes of Janne Tanskanen, Mark Wicks and Philip Cullen cannot be underestimated.

Rumours are rife also in regards to Woods Racing's number 2 seats, recently vacated by Juha Tanskanen. Dave Carr-Smith is rumoured to be the chosen driver, the young Briton having stepped on the podium on the opening Australian Grand Prix.
