Maximum Racing added the last piece of the puzzle with the announcement of their new full-time test driver.

Jason Muscat, an 18-year-old rookie from Malta who has been driving in the smaller leagues with excellent results, is about to hit it big with his first ever Superleague contract.

Maximum Team Manager Mike Phillis stated, "This is it, finally Maximum Racing has all of its posts filled and up to speed. With these new developments in place, Maximum are going places."

New boy in town Muscat, who will surely hope to follow the footsteps of fellow Maltese Joe Consiglio, met the press for the first time: "I have stepped up to this league, as it is a rigourus and motivated league, with added experience I need for aiming for a race seat.

I know Gavin [Thomas] from lower leagues, I had a talk with him before deciding on my future. Futhermore, I feel I can learn a lot from established drivers like Gav and Lee Iden."

But learning is not the only thing Muscat is in for in the Superleague: "I aim to get MY race seat in the near future" is the plan for the young tester.

Wrapping up the press meeting, Mike Phillis closed on with this: "The team is filled, everyone is happy and motivated, let our results speak from now on!!"
