Williamson Dynamics Grand Prix are pressing forward with their pre-season preparations as things continue to gather pace.

The Anglo-German outfit has confirmed that all 6 WDF1.11 chassis constructed for the 2011 season are currently en-route to the team's design operation in Belgium to have their test livery applied, finalised and inspected prior to the upcoming GPVWC test livery deadline. Despite the cars being loaded in total secrecy, it has been revealed that none of the team's sponsors or partners will feature in the test livery, and so can not be exepected to be seen on the car until the January launch date of the team's official livery for the season.

Continuing their preparations, the team have also announced that their long running search for operational team members has finished, with the appointment of Matt Malecki to the design department, and the welcome return of EA Games graphics wizard, Ben Ross on a part-time basis. Both of whom will work under Chief Designer and head of team operations, Marco Vandenbroeck.

Additionally, the team were particualrly proud to announce the appointment of reknowned set-up specialist Tom Eley to the position of director of race engineering, with the engineering department additonally being bolstered with the appointment of a Motec specialist due to be finalised in the coming days.

Also confirmed, was the teams signing of the first of four drivers for the coming season, with the team electing to run 2 test drivers also. However, sources within the team remain tight-lipped, insisting a full announcement regarding the new signing will be made shortly.
