In a shock move, champion Joe Consiglio is rumoured to be considering a move to prestigious outfit Synergetic Motorsports. The Nordsjoen Racing stalwartis said to be restless at the helm of the team and thinking about considering setting himself a new challenge.

Our sources suggest that Consiglio is on the verge of signing a two-year deal with Synergetic, in a move which is guaranteed to shake up the league and steer his prospective new team closer toward winning the championship. It is understood that part of the deal included the assurance that Synergetic would no longer be relying on Cosworth support for their power houses. However, the source also said, "I don't know where exactly he's going to fit in - we've already assigned our two main drivers for the season. Neither Consiglio nor Synergetic's supremo were available for comment.

In other news, it has been confirmed that Mal Mckee has been back in the Big Comfy Chair for Synergetic, having had possibly the longest absence of his management and racing career. McKee is currently competing with Draig Racing in the Masters series, which is due to finish at Silverstone on Thursday the 20th of January with televised commentary. Other names linked with driving seats for Synergetic are GPVWC rookie Paul McKenna and boss Mal McKee.
