Williamson Dynamics have today moved to confirm their final addition to their 2011 team, and there are not many in sim racing with a bigger reputation. Legendary Dutch ace Roy Wachtmeester rejoins Williamson Dynamics after nearly 12 months out of racing. Wachtmeester has an excellent reputation in many of the biggest sim racing leagues in the world, leading the WD team last season in the GPVWC however, Roy strugged to find form and subsequently left the team and took an extended hiatus from his racing career to focus on other things.

Now refreshed and keen to rejoin a team long held dear to his heart, Wachtmeester will certainly prove a valuable asset. "We are simply delighted to welcome Roy back to the team for 2011. His knowledge of last years car, partnered with his excellent skills as a set-up and development driver mean his contribution this season really cannot be measured. Roy is something of an institution here at WD, and a true favourite among our fanbase. It's truly wonderful to have him back." stated Team Prinicpal, Ben Williamson.

Adding to the owner's words, Wachtmeester stated; "It truly is great to be back. I'm feeling fired up and ready. When it came to returning to racing, there was only ever one team I was interested in working with. In all my years in the sport, there are few teams who can compare with the experience of driving for Williamson Dynamics."

Finally, Director of Race Engineering Tom Eley added his thoughts; "Working with a driver the calibre of Roy Wachtmeester is always a pleasure, I can see him being an invaluable source of information and feedback as the season progresses. I'm delighted to see him back in the garage."

To fans and sponsors of the team alike, Wachtmeester's presence in the GPVWC operations of the team will be a reassuring one, especially after strong criticism that this season's line-up lacks experience.
