The surprise package of last season, Yellowbirds Grand Prix, has been re-branded for the 2011 season and will take to the track under the new name - Computrac Motorsports. Marco Vandenbroeck remains at the helm of the team and on the driver roster and as he took to the podium at the teams brand new Headquarters in Brussels he addressd the waiting press corps.

"I was pleasantly surprised with our haul of points last year, for an inaugural season it was pretty good. The new season is on the horizon and we are delighted to welcome our new sponsor Computrac onboard and hope to build on last years success." He continued, "There has been some speculation about the team and who we would bring in for the second season. Due to the nature of our business and the driver market we considered many candidates for the two driver roles, but I am delighted with the final outcome of our negotiations! Without further ado, please welcome our driving team for the GPVWC 2011 Superleague - Gavin Thomas and Ben Morgan!"

Thomas took to the stand. "I am absolutely overjoyed with securing this seat in Computrac Motorsports. To me, the success shown by the team last year is something that had a big impression on my decision to accept. I'm glad Marco thinks highly enough of me to sign me, I aim to repay that trust by continuing my improving form and make sure Computrac are as high up the grid as this wonderful team deserves!"

The little known Ben Morgan then took over from Thomas. "I'm over the moon to be in GPVWC; myself, Gavin and Marco will provide an interesting mix of experience and youth. I believe we have all the ingredients to make this a great season for Computrac Motorsports!"

In closing Marco Vandenbroeck said with a wry smile: "The apprenticeship of this team is over, it's time to graduate from what we achieved last year and show our teeth to the upper end of the grid, we have the talent now it's time to let it loose!" With a final gesture Vandenbroeck shook his fellow drivers hands into the air in celebration.

Only time will tell if the rest of the field can muster a response to the dark horses of the grid!
