The most secretive team on the gris, Midnight Motorsport, came out of the shadows with an announcement that puts it straight into the list of top favourites for honours in the 2011 season. The English team can now boast one of the most sought-after engines and a driver pairing featuring a solid point-scorer and a previous race winner.

"After a very quiet winter from myself and the Midnight Motorsports team I very proud to announce our 2011 program.

I would like to open with our 2011 aspirations. We at Midnight Motorsports have a true desire to try and push forwards for the 2011 GPVWC World Championship. While we start on the back foot as a new team I feel the personnel we have acquired and the engine package we have secured, we can push for the title. Even though this is our first season we come from a good heritage and an excellent Sim Racing background. We are looking to build upon the foundations of the CSG team.
