Nordsjoen Racing launched its 2011 contender at the team's headquarters in Cardiff, Wales. In the presence of team owner William Ponissi, manager Birgitte Wangensteen and drivers Joe Consiglio, Jyri Lylykorpi, Samuli Leinonen and new signing Georgios Davakos, the NR004 was unveiled.

The car, sporting numbers 0 and 2 due to the departure of World Champion Janne Tanskanen, retains the traditional Nordsjoen white-blue-orange colour scheme, and features the logos of Cardiff TV, the new team's title sponsor.

2009 World Champion Joe Consiglio, one of the front-runners for the 2011 title, really appreciates the new design by Adam Rouse: "The new livery is absolutely stunning, I didn't think Adam could top last years design but he's definitely proved me wrong!"

Consiglio was optimistic on his chances for 2011: "We've had a good pre-season and we've shown the car has good potential on all different types of circuit. Perhaps we're a little down on mileage compared to some other teams but never-the-less we're happy with the car's basic setup and handling. Aerodynamically we made a positive step before Monza and this translated into laptime at the actual test. The car's reliability has been bulletproof so far too, so overall I think we're indecent shape as the first race draws ever closer".

Team Owner William Ponissi was also at hand to praise Adam Rouse's creation: "The new car is absolutely stunning. Adam did a great job, and if the car is as quick as it is pretty, we are in for a very successful season".
