Debutant team Triple-Double Racing has seen some massive internal reshuffling that led to owner Ben Warren relinquishing control of the team to Phil Perkins just days before the season opener. With cars, parts and personnel already on their way to Melbourne, the reorganisation of the team might bring some needed stability for the team, which has seen the results some great pre-season activity potentially nullified by a patchy development programme.

Reports early on Tuesday morning highlight a tense situation within the team, with Warren requiring to take a step backwards to deal with some important personal issues and Perkins to offer to assume control of the team to ensure he and fellow driver Adam Rouse can regularly take part in the forthcoming season. The team is believed to be in par with the League fee submissions, and as such is expected to line up in Melbourne regularly.

While no comment was available from the involved parties, it is confirmed the team will not undergo a name change and will retain its current livery, widely believed to be one of the most admired on the grid.
