Maltese pair Joe Consiglio and Jason Muscat topped the timesheets in the in-season Test held on the Slovakiaring circuit. The two drivers were the only to go in the 1:29's, ahead of Lee Morris in third and first in the 30's.

The Test saw a good attendance, with 26 cars taking part in the session; Joe Consiglio was also the driver to complete the highest amount of laps, 107. The drivers will now have a week's time to get prepared to one of the toughest, most ruthless and at the same time most prestigious races in the calendar, the Monaco Grand Prix.

On a separate topic, rumours have begun to emerge regarding a possible side-trip undertaken by GPVWC Administrator William Ponissi. Seemingly, the Italian took the chance of the test in Slovakia to drive down to Hungary to attend a meeting. An insider of the GPVWC claimed the meeting was with the representatives of Hungaroring, the famous Hungarian track that last saw an appearance in the GPVWC in the 2008 season.

It is yet unknown whether the talks were regarding a possible inclusion of Hungaroring in the 2012 Calendar, or whether the Budapest track is being considered for the winter-time GPVWC Masters Series.
