TD Racing turned up at Monaco on high after the teams first podium at Magny Cours with Bart De Vos, The team will be hoping to carry that momentum onto the tricky streets of Monte Carlo and hoping to get both cars home this time. Phil Perkins again failed to finish at Magny Cours making it seven DNF's from seven races -not a good record for the ageing Brit at all.

When asked as they arrived at the principality what had happened at the French GP Perkins replied: "Just lost a little concentration into the fast right left at the end of sector two and binned it in the wall unfortunately, it's getting real frustrating now and I need to get a race finish under my belt to build some confidence. This will prove even trickier at Monaco as the tight street circuit isn't one of my better tracks and never tend to do well here, but here's to hoping this year will be different."

De Vos was in a little more upbeat mood, still riding the high after his debut and scoring a podium for the team. "I was very happy with the podium in my debut race even though I was very lucky, but I'm hoping to be fighting again for the "bigger" points in Monaco."

So with Perkins lacking in confidence and De Vos still on a high after his excellent debut, could this be the turning point for TDR where Perkins actually gets to the end of a race and gains that all important confidence and De Vos once again scoring big points for the team? All will be revealed once the GPVWC circus rolls out onto the streets this coming Thursday for what could be an epic race.
